Using Asset with Panasonic Viera TV

    Evening,

I am trying to use Asset as the DLNA server for my new Panasonic Viera TV. Asset is running on my Windows XP laptop.

The TV sees the Asset DLNA server, all the albums, tracks, etc. are found. I click on a song and the screen with the song appears but the song doesn't play. The song is 16-bit FLAC for example, but the .mp3 songs are the same.

I know the files are all there and correct as I can play them fine on the Viera when running a Serviio DLNA server.

    Thanks for any help.

    Cheers
    Roy

You could try enabling debug in Asset (advanced options in the general section) to find out what requests are being made of it by the TV.
