    Problems with "The artists"

    Hello All,

I am using Asset Premium and having two specific problems with "The_Artists" when browsing by artist/album.

Firstly, all are sorted under "T". e.g."The Eagles" comes under T but not E.
Secondly, all my "The_artists" are not showing upstream artwork, but in all cases, the art does appear when the album is selected.

I have changed between the "Smart", "Value, The" and "leave as is" options within Asset, and also played with the artist sort handling options. After each change, I have been careful to allow Asset to rescan the database before checking on my control points (I am using Naim N-Stream 3.16 but also checking on a Denon streamer and a PS3 to be sure I can isolate any N-Stream issue). In all cases, I cannot see any differences at all by changing these settings in Asset.

I have ripped all music to WAV with tags set to "artist, the" and the folder structures refelct this giving eg. Eagles, The. All art is both embedded and in a folder.jpg.

Now struggling for ideas, any help would be well appreciated!

R4 trial version for a couple of months, now using full premium version on HP Proliant server. I have seen the same issues on both.

Probably worth testing R4.1 beta, it has had improvements with sort tags.
