Some artists don't show cover art when browsing in tree

Hi,

On asset_v4 (but also before) I noticed that a few artists never get album art, although that is embedded in all .flac metadata and is also present in a folder.jpg file.

Am I overlooking something, or what could be the reason for this? It ain't random, after a restart of server or upnp client this remains the same. Asset runs on win7 64bit, on a NTFS filesystem.

Try a different control point if you can, such as Asset Control (beta section this forum).

The same things happens on the same tree entries in Asset Control. When I go one level deeper the cover art does show up.

A screenie of this happening. I therefore doubt this is a control point thing.

Ah the upstream art.

It would not show if the artist was not the main artist when it was fetching album art (if that makes sense).

In other words, how do I fix this? Tried rescanning entire library which does not seem to give a better result.

For that album with no upstream art, does it have multiple artists?

I have checked multiple, but I can confirm this is not the case. Single artist, single album artist (being exactly the same).

See my other comment, have any clue or want a test file so you can check whether you can reproduce the effect?

I can confirm it's related to multiple artists in the artist tag, in my case ; seperated.

Hi spoon, a few weeks have passed. Any update on upstream art missing, by chance?
