Track Total Time for MP3 files not correct

Asset never provides an accurate Total Track time for MP3 files (it does fine with FLAC files), regardles of what controller/host/player I use to access the library. The time provide by Asset is always about 40% longer than the actual track time.

Is there a setting I need to change to correct this?

Where are you seeing this time? when browsing or on playback (as on playback the player would be creating its own length, not asset).

On playback. But, it happens with every device and app. A Micca media player box, and two iPad apps (AirPlayer and PS Audio).

Your mp3 files will be VBR, the players will not decode the VBR header...
