Problem with iTunes Library Not Showing Up in Kinsky browser on iPad or iPhone-Asset

Problem with iTunes Library Not Showing Up in Kinsky browser on iPad or iPhone - Asset UPnP

I have a Linn Akurate DS which I am attempting to run with Kinsky and Asset UPnP. My main “ethernet wired” computer is a Windows 7 PC. I have installed Kinsky and Asset UPnP on such computer. Everything works perfectly on the PC. All of my music titles and playlists from iTunes show up perfectly in the Home section of the Kinsky Browser. So far everything is fantastic.

BUT - here is the problem. I also have an iPhone and an iPad to wirelessly move around the house and control the content streamed to the DS. When on the iPhone or iPad, iTunes icon (therefore iTunes library) does NOT show up in the Home section of the Kinsky Browser. The Asset folder does show up BUT it only contains some (NOT ALL) of my music files. All music files are in the AIFF format. I have about 748 GB of AIFF music files on a 1 TB hard drive within the Windows 7 PC. The Windows 7 PC has three total hard drives C:, D: and E:

Any help would be appreciated - Scott

On Assets advanced page, you would have to add all the drives to Asset, so it knows where to look for audio.

So are you saying that even though all my music is only on my d: drive, and because I am only pointing Asset to my d: drive, that could be the problem?

Sorry I miss-read your message, I thought your music was on 3 drives.

Use Advanced Search >> File and Folder browsing and see if you can find a file which is missing, then look at what that file is (its audio type, extension).

OK, I figured out why some songs/albums do not show up in Asset. It was because I am told there are different types of AIFF files and even though they are each called an AIFF there are differences. Asset did not like certain AIFF files and did not add them to the library. After converting the missing files to Apple Lossless, Asset found them. So, I ended up converting everything to Apple Lossless and now everything shows up in Asset except for iTunes created playlists.
