DLNA 1.0 device not detecting Asset server

    Hi everyone,
My Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD blu-ray player is DLNA 1.0 certified.
From it, I am able to "pull" music, pictures and videos saved on my old XP computer (running WMP 11).
My new computer, a Dell XPS with Windows 7 and WMP 12 is not detected as a source by the blu-ray player.
Also, the blu-ray does not detect my NAS, a WD MyBook Live with built-in Twonky server.
I downloaded Asset on my Win7 computer, no difference. It is not seen by the Blu-ray.
But the blu-ray is "seen" by all these components on my network.
I previously tried Mezzmo and it was listed by the blu-ray, but as an "unauthorized source", so it did not work. Support at Mezzmo never replied to my questions so I uninstalled it. (How good is support at Asset?)
I authorized all required accesses to my computer, still my blu-ray cannot access anything on my Win7 nor on my NAS.
Other components on my network: D-Link DI-624 router, McAfee Internet Security.
Every component is hardwired via CAT6 cabling.
Is DLNA 1.0 supported by Asset (or WMP 12, or else) ?
I don't understand why Windows 7 is causing that issue. I read on other forums that MANY people have the same problem.
    I wish someone can help

Yes, if the Pioneer cannot see Asset, then make sure a Firewall on the Windows 7 PC is not blocking Asset.

I opened all ports possible on my router and on my McAfee firewall, Asset is not detected.
I also tried disabling completely the AV firewall, no difference.
But the blu-ray detects WMP11 on my XP PC, no sweat! (I want to get rid of that one)
I suspect it has something to do with Windows 7, but what?

Try installing Asset on the XP machine as a test.

I am ending this thread right now.

After trying Mezzmo, Twonky, Serviio, Allegro, Nero, Asset, Tversity,

I found the one that works:

Thanks all for trying to help me.
