streaming .flac and .mp3

Is it possible to send my .flac titles to all devices except my NOXON 2 as they are? I would like that the NOXON 2 receives the files in .mp3 format. In asset there is the possibility to override the streaming options but I don't get rid with this feature.

If you look at the override settings, if the Noxon is identified you can force mp3 for it.

Hi Spoon,
I want to stream to my NOXON 2 with .mp3 format. All other device should be feeded with .flac.
I can sse an entry in the "Known Control Points" as "AssetControl/1.0, DLNADOC/1.50, NOXON 2", therefore I added the following rule into the "Rule Based Profiles":
NOXON 2
[ForceToMP3]
.flac
But this doen't work!

Also check that an mp3 file can play on the noxon.

I've set the Rule as you told it. But asset still doesn't stream the .flac files as .mp3 to the NOXON. I get a 1411kbps stream.
But I know that if I set the "Audio Format Streaming" to "FLAC as MP3" I receive a 256kbps stream on my NOXON.
What do I make wrong?

You would have to clear the playlist and readd the items again.

That doesn't solve the problem. I still have an 1411kbps stream.

Enable the debug mode in Asset, play a file then look at the debug log (and disable it), it will show which filetype is being served.

I can see the following: Serve Entity Set to: audio/x-flac.
There is no "...Forced Streaming to MP3 Format..." as I can see when I set "Audio Format Streaming" to "FLAC as MP3".

You are using Asset Control? to load the tracks onto the player?

Not on the NOXON which has a built in player software.

Your override settings only work for Asset Control, as that was the identifier.

Thanks for the hint - with asset control in works. I thought overriding is a feature within asset upnp.

The list of known control points, your device will be there, but might have a non-obvious ID. If you install Asset v4 (in beta) the last used control point (which is the device its self) will be highlighted.
