Squeezbox Server Upgrade v Asset

I was interested to read that a future version of SB Server will include UPnP compatability.

Does that mean SB control point will see my UPnP device (Linn DSI)?

I'm interested because Linn control points are so poor compared with SB.

Would there be disadvantages with access Linn DSI via SB Server rather than UPnP?
