Radio Time Mystery

I have Asset on Ripnas and also on my computer.

Different radio stations around the world are advertised at different kB rates but currently I have the following strange phenomenon :

From Ripnas, Kinsky shows every station as " MP3 44.1kHz 128 kbps "
From computer Asset, Kinsky says "MP3 44.1 kHz 256 kbps "

What's going on ?

That is because Asset acts as a proxy, in Asset Configuration (asset settings on the RipNAS WHS Console) you can set how the Radio is sent on, either mp3, Wave, or LPCM

Oh i see, thanks.
I never looked into the Edit section. On ripnas it was set to 128, on the computer to 256. Now I've set it to 320. Why would anyone want the lower settings ?

It should default to 320kbps, it is just there as an option.
