upnp service not vissible in network

Dear support-team,

after installing asset upnp service it is not accessable from other clients like plugplayer (ipod) in the network. plugplayer doesn't find a media player.

The service is available on the router, upnp seems to run (is finding the music and folders) ...

The intel tool upnp device spy is also not providing an IP-adress of this service.

could it be a configuration e.g. in Mcafee ?

Do you have a checklist, which settings are necessary in Win XP ?

Asset is a media server, not a player, please clarify this line.

UPnP on routers generally have nothing to do with playing of audio tracks (it is more to do with opening ports on the router for programs such as skype).
