Multiple instances of Asset on the same machine

Since one player only plays mp3, and another plays LPCM, I really need to run two instances of Asset, each with their own configuration settings.

Is there any way to do this?

You can use the 'Settings Override' page to define LPCM for one player (locked to control point) and mp3 for the other.

I had this same thought. I see where to create these entries, now how do I do it? Fairly new to this, so haven't read every post or doc yet. My library is all FLAC, which streams to my receiver beautifully, but now I want to stream to my NookColor, which means it has to be Mp3.

Back to the multiple instances: I am interested in doing this to segment my collection. I have a rather large library, and would like to split it into a "Classical" collection, and an "Everything Else" collection (As the tags on the two types of Music don't work well together). Is is possible to do this without running multiple instances? If not, is is possible to run multiple instances?

It will not be until R3.1 (which is due to start soon) that this section will get detailed documentation.
