can't play anything on PS3

Help!

Trying to get anything to play on the PS3. Using PlayStation Media Server works fine (FLAC and mp3), but no matter what settings I try in Asset, I cannot get anything to play. I can brows the folder just fine, and see all the albums and songs, but as soon as I click on a tune, I get "Data type not support" and that's it.

Can someone please let me know what settings are know to work with the ps3 (on Asset, as well as the ps3 settings!). Here is my setup for reference:

win 7 running asset v3 registered
ps3 60 gig, wireless
asset works perfectly with soundbridge
ideally, I want to stream everything as 192k mp3 (due to the wireless connection)


Any ideas?

You are using Asset v3? the PS3 is presetup on Asset v3, unless you have a PS3 which I have not encountered before, click on Asset Configuration >> Advanced Settings 'Edit' >>under General Settings 'Edit Override Values' and user known control points what does it say for the Playstation 3?

I have the same problem. I couldn't play MP3 or FLAC files on the PS3 (--> message "The file format is not supported"). The same files are played with the "PS3 Media Server" Software correctly.

I'm using
- Windows7
- PS3 with newest Software (with music settings: sample rate = 48kHz and bitmapping = typ1)
- Asset UPnP V3 with setting:

You could try removing the:
