Problems with searching on own tags / just Label and publisher ?!

Hi,

I tried to add Label and Publisher to Browse tree and added both as

label,0,NVARCHAR(150)
publisher,0,NVARCHAR(150)

in the MediaDatabaseFieldsv3.txt file.

BUT no items are shown if I search in Label or Publisher....?!

I tagged all with mp3tag and found out that "publisher" in mp3tag is thge same as "label" in Asset, cause if I make a right click on an a flac file an use edit ID-tag from dbpoweramp it showed me under label the publisher info.

What am I missing that searching is not working?

I made a refresh all and a Restart too.

Please help

Browse to %progfiles%\illustrate\dbpoweramp

and run the uMediaLibrary-dumpdb.exe program, this will show if the program has read those ID tags.

It would be easier for most people to get more notes...

After running I got a huge *.txt file with a lot of text. What should I do with that?

Save it as .xls and load into excel, everything will be formatted correctly then.

Do you want the xls-file (23,9MB) ?

A little more help for those who don't work in his job with programs like yours would be helpful, e.g. customer service.

Just told me how I can get the browse tree function for me and everything is ok.

I do not know why it is not working, so you need to look into it. Once you load it in to Excel there will be a column 'Label' and you can see if Asset has been able to read any tags from the files.

There is no column with label nor publisher.

Are my mediadatabase.....txt and the browse tree right?

You must have a different mediadatabasefieldsv3.txt file which asset is using, is asset running as a service?

What do you mean as a service, I'm using WHS with the Asset msi.

I found 2 files on my pc. One under administrator (which I changed), another one under default user, completely different (see below).

I'll post them.



Should I delete all under default user?

The newer ones (date access) should be on the default user account

Do not delete any, add your extra lines to the one under Default User, then rescan.

I copied my changed one to default user and made a rescan...no changes

BTW,

asset is running as a service
