    V3 transcoding flac-multichannel to LPCM broken

    Having searched a long time for a DLNA-Server, transcoding flac-multichannel 5.1 to LPCM-mutichannel 5.1, i was glad that it worked fine in Asset V2.1.
    In V3.0 it does' nt work any more, flac-5.1 Recordings are now transcoded to LPCM 2.0 .
    Ubuntu 10.04/Wine Asset 2.1/3.0 -> OPPO BDP 83 -> Onkyo 3007
    I hope this can be fixed.

    You do not have the maximum channels set?

      Hi Spoon,
      "Maximum" is set to "any bits", "any frequency", "any channels" as it was in V2.1.
      The issue in my environment is reproducible.
      After a full Uninstall of V3.0 and Install of V2.1 => FLAC5.1->LPCM5.1 :smile2:

        Re: V3 transcoding flac-multichannel to LPCM broken

        Hi Spoon
        meanwhile i tested uncompressed LPCM 5.1 in wav-Container. (Sample-file downloaded from iTrax.com) and got the same loss of channels as with flac 5.1

        V2.1 => uncompressed LPCM5.1 in wav-file -> LPCM5.1 on AV-Reciever :smile2:
        V3.0 => uncompressed LPCM5.1 in wav-file -> LPCM2.0 on AV-Reciever :(

        transcoding Options for flac and wav are set to LPCM
        "Maximum" is set to "any bits", "any frequency", "any channels"

        As proofed with Asset2.1 it's possible to feed the AVR with Multichannel-LPCM via Asset->Network->OPPO->HDMI->Onkyo.
        It would be fine, if this will work in V3.0 to.
