Cannot see the asset UPNP server after installation

I have installed the asset UPNP on my XP PC, the asset service has been started but I cannot see the service from my OPPO 83SE but I am able to see my Synology server via UPNP, what have I done wrong? What else need to be setup on the PC?

    Thanks

Make sure your firewall is not blocking asset.

Cannot see any flac files from OPPO

Installed Asset UPNP R3 trail. Followed the instuction, set audio format streaming for flac as LPCM.

Found the following in Settings Override

            Rule Based Profiles
            =BDP-8
            [ForceToLPCM]
            *

            Known Control Points
            OPPO PLAYER
            POSIX UPNP/1.0 ..........

What else do I need to enable flac transcoding and playback on the OPPO?

            Thanks

Re: Cannot see any flac files from OPPO

OK, this is what I found:

              Browse under Album Artist/Album
              Nothing will show up

              Browse under Title
Titles with PCM type shown up and able to pay

Is this a restriction forthe trail license? A Asset UPNP problem or a OPPO issue ?

              Regards

Re: Cannot see any flac files from OPPO

                Install:

Asset Control (a UPnP / DLNA control point) is billed as the control point you have been waiting for . In UPnP there are: Server / Control Point / Renderer, where the Server catalogues tracks, Control Point creates playlists from the Server and controls the Renderer (player), all 3 elements of UPnP could reside on the same

Then browse Asset from Asset Control on your PC. See if you can see your albums from Asset Control.

PS. Please confine all posts to one thread, rather than 3 separate threads asking the same questions.

                  Hi Spoon,
I have installed Asset control on a window 7 notebook and able to see all the album and flac files but my OPPO still cannot see any of those files when I use advance search or just browse by Artist/Album. I can't figure out what's wrong.

Try clearing the settings overwrite page, it might be forcing a simple tree.

                      Hi Spoon,
How do I clearing the tree? Can I do that by hitting the "Refresh All"?

                      Thanks

Not the tree rather the override settings section (Rule Based Profiles)

                          Hi Spoon,
Below is the section that I had cleared out:

                          =AssetControl
                          [NoAssetPrependTrackNum]
                          [NoAssetTrackWantFrontArtist]
                          [NoAssetTrackWantEndArtist]
                          [NoAssetAlbumArtist]
                          [NoAssetMultiDiscTrackTitle]

                          ={no-identification}
                          [NoAssetPrependTrackNum]
                          [NoAssetTrackWantFrontArtist]
                          [NoAssetTrackWantEndArtist]
                          [NoAssetAlbumArtist]

                          Still the same, nothing shown.

                          Regards

Is 'FLAC as LPCM' set in the Asset UPnP advanced settings?
Are the flac files 16-bit, 44.1KHz?
