Sort by composer surname

I have a RipNas Statement managed by Asset and like the ease of use; thanks.

Is it possible to modify the setup to sort by composer surname (i.e. last name in field)? All catalogues enter first name then surname and I really do not want to spend the rest of my life editing ...

Alternatively, could you include an option in the next version, effectively the opposite of the option to relegate "the" to end of artist and album fields?

The only way this could happen is if your composers had a ComposerSort field and a new version of Asset which support that field.

not sure I understand, but I am not a programmer. Can I write that in Asset v2.1, or is this - auto generated ComposerSurnameSort field and a tick box option you would include in v3? I would expect this to be a popular option.

ComposerSort is not autogenerated, it would have to come at the time of ripping, or be added later.

A future version of Asset will support composer sort.
