    Asset's response to changes

I've noticed that Asset seems to pick up changes in tag content very quickly, but by comparison it is slow to deal with changes in directory structure, for example resulting from a configuration change. In particular, what I imagine is a tidying up phase at the end of a rescan (when the upnp configuration "scanning library" message sticks at a few tracks below the total number detected) takes forever. Typically, the configuration change will involve a directory structure that is no longer being tracked.

Is this an inherent issue with Asset or is there something I am doing wrong? I realise that the reconfiguration process will come to an end once I have everything set up properly, but in the meantime it's a bit of a pain.

    Thanks.

There is nothing special at the end of a scan, perhaps it is those few end tracks which are causing difficulites (reading the tags)?
