    Windows 2000

I downloaded and installed Asset Upnp on a Windows 2000 machine, but I am having problems getting it to work with my Philips Streamium npp1100. The player lists Asset Upnp but gives an error that I have to enable media sharing in Windows Media Player 11.

Are there any extra steps I need to take to make it work on Windows 2000?

Have you tried Asset v2 (in the beta section of this forum)?

Thanks! V2 works great in Windows 2000.

I had the same issue with the same model Streamium, and the Release 2 beta from beta/AssetUPnP-XP.exe worked for me as well. Thanks!

Note that the registration button in this beta version points to http://www.dbpoweramp.com/asset-register.htm, which does not currently exist. Not sure what will happen at the end of the 30-day trial.
