how to get thai mp3's playing?

Hi

im one of these real noobie guys in terms of codecs.. just hope for
help here.
I got some cds with thai mp3's on it and dont get it managed to hear just a single beep from it. I really dont know if this could be because i dont have the right codec installed or if its maybe a language problem. dba kicks me out with a "cant read error".
Looks like Encspot have the same problem - no info at all from there. Does anyone have any idea how to get them running?
Files are like: xyz.mp3 and on highlighting a file in explorer dba even dont recognize size and lenght. If i start them with jukebox or an other mp3 player there is no response.

Thanks in advance
Greets

Nothing to do with codecs, as each mp3 program has their own inbuilt codecs, it is more to do with duff mp3 files.
