Won't Update next skin stage

I'm working on the next stage of my skin based upon the dAP and using the Default listings and values as examples.
When building the MainMiniAmp from the Tray Control component selection window in Skin Designer, my work is not be saved. And the new addition does not appear when the mouse is over the tray icon.

When I go back to the Skin Designer and bring up my skin, I get a new blank screen when I select the Tray Control option...which is where my additional work should be available.
The MainAMP & Equalizer are still available from the AMP selection though.

I've even tried building this next stage from the AMP selection screen where my player & Eq already reside. Still won't update from there either.

The addition is being saved into the Tray Control subfolder in Explorer and in my Photo program...along with a .bin file.

Got any ideas what's going on?

Thanks.

If you load the default skin and move a button on the tray part, then update it do DAP does it save it?

Spoon,
I tried your suggestion of loading the Default into the Designer. I changed the pause button to a play button...and...
Yes, it did update the Default Tray Control...which is now showing two play buttons. The work is also being saved and retrieved in the Skin Designer when Tray Control is selected the next time.

I retried again with my own skin, loading and updating just the first part...theMainminiAmp. It doesn't save, nor does it appear from the tray icon when the mouse is over it like it does for the Default player skin.

All that is appearing in the Tray Control the next time I load my skin is the blank screen with a new "skin window" command ready to set the next skin.

Hi,

Just make sure that you have indeed got the current skin you are working on in the skin designer active on the player.

For example if you have a long list of skins installed and the current skin you are working on IS NOT set as a skin then you can update to dap all you want from the skin designer and it won't get shown on the player because the player doesn't load that skin.

If this is what's happening to you, the best way to resolve this is to unselect ALL the skins in the list of skins, except the current one you are working on. (right click on the dap player, select skins and you will get the list of skins installed).

Hope that helps.
