How can I Truncate an MP3 File?

Can I truncate an MP3 file using dBpoweramp Music Converter R15.1? I have a file that I want to use on a web page but it is about 35 seconds too long. Years ago I truncated some music files and I thought it was with dBpower amp but I just downloaded it and I can't seem to find where I might be able to truncate a file. As I remember it, I played the music file (maybe in Media Player, not sure) and copied it somehow, stopping the recording somehow at the place I chose. Was/is this possible with dBpower amp music converter?

    Thanks.............Thais

You can do by recoding with dBpoweramp with a DSP effect Maximum Length.

Reencoding induces generation loss. You may use http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html to just cut out without decoding.
