    Call to "Edit ID-Tag"

I use Directory Opus and I would like to create a button for the right-click context menu of "Edit ID-Tag". I don't know what executable or parameters to call when setting up the button.

    Can it be done?

There are no command-lines you can specify as the Edit ID Tag is based on a dll shell extension.

Bummer, Thanks for the answer anyway.

      Maybe a future version?

        Re: Call to "Edit ID-Tag"

Sorry to drag up an old thread - but similar situation here with XYplorer. Is the shell extension 32bit or 64bit if I installed latest version on 64bit windows 7?
        Thanks

The shell extension is 64 bit on 64 bit windows.

            Re: Call to "Edit ID-Tag"

Thanks for the quick reply. From the XYplorer end, they are saying this:

A 64-bit application that installs shell extensions should also install the 32-bit versions, but this is sometimes not done. So if a program installs only 64-bit shell extensions they will not show up in 32-bit applications like XYplorer.
Workaround: Often this can be fixed by installing the 32-bit version of the application "side-by-side" with the 64-bit version.

Are there any options to get this working?

              Re: Call to "Edit ID-Tag"

XYplorer are wrong, there is no need for a 64 bit application to install 32 bits onto a 64 bit OS, they are just covering their limitations. The shell by definition is the same bit level as the OS.
