Can dbPowerAmp input from Line In?
Does it equalize the input before sending it out?
I'm looking to equalize the input signal and was hoping dbPowerAmp's eq could do it...
Thanks!

If you are trying to record from your Line In, you will have to use dBpowerAMP Music Converter's Auxiliary Input. Just install dMC and Aux. Input is included. Instructions for it are linked below.

No, I did not want to record it.
I just want to "equalize" the line in and send it back out to listen to. My sound card (Extigy) does not include a built in equalizer - I guess cause it's external.
Is this possible with the recording tool? (To apply equalization effects prior to recording or prior to sending it back out to be listened to).

You can record whatever comes from line-in onto your pc, usin dMC Auxiliary Input, preferably to uncompressed 16-bit 44.1KHz 2-channel stereo .wav, and you can use the Graphic equalizer from the powerpack DSP effects when doing that. It will be rather tenuous to handle all at the same time. I'd prefer to simply record first and after that convert again to uncompressed wav but using the equalizer dsp effect.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions!
1 last thing - sorry for beating this question to death:
I do just want to confirm that dbPowerAmp Player *cannot* "play" a song from the line in, applying equalization effects???

dBPpowerAMP can only play files stored on your pc or from a cd rom drive (or other external storage drive) on you pc, for which it has the decoding codecs.
