View Full Version : CD-Text
I really like dBpowerAmp but the one thing I really miss with the product is the program pulling track info from the CD-Text. Yes I know there is freedb but that only works with commercial CD's. I however have 400-500 custom CD's. freedb does nothing for me.
CD-Text would be a god send to me. Can I have these feature please??
Thanks

Start Audio Cd Input. Go to Options, click Advanced next to the CD Drive selection, select "2000/NT Built-In" and then check the CD-Text box.

Ayyeee! Those options have changed with the new release I just installed.
What's what now?
The help still says:
Q. No audio tracks are listed?
A. Select Options and make sure the correct CD Drive is selected. Still no go? for Windows NT / 2000 or XP select Advanced (next to CD Drive) and change Communications to NT/2000 Built-in (Limited). Other Windows versions see [Audio CD Input FAQ].

Looks like:
"2000/NT Built-In" --> SCSI Direct Pass Through
"2000/NT Built-In (Limited)" --> Windows Internal [Limited]
And of course, ASPI is still ASPI.

Just names have changed:
"2000/NT Device Io" --> SCSI Direct Pass Through
"2000/NT Built-In (Limited)" --> Windows Internal [Limited]
And of course, ASPI is still ASPI
Anything with 2000/NT was lookin old...

You should change the documentation again :smile2:
But I'm still on Win 2000 myself :D

Christina, if you read the first post on the r11.1 beta, it says that its ready for release, the documentation just needs updating. :)
