CD Input may do this already, but I haven't found it.

I would like an option for a specific pattern of Song Title conversion - the first letter of all words to be capitalized.

So the first character is caps, all characters after a space is caps, and anything following a left paren "(" is caps.

Or a plug arrangement where a user can specify a code file name that each title will be passed to for processing, and where the result is obtained.

The goal being to pull the titles from CDDB (any form), standardize the titles, and then proceed to other processing.

I enabled Smart Formatting, and tested in using Al Stewart's Down in The Cellar.

Track 3 is shown after inserting the disk as "Down in The Cellar",
Track 4 is shown as "Turning it Into Water"

Turning off Smart Formatting and retrieving from Freedb again changes the capitalization to "Down In The Cellar" and "Turning It Into Water".

This doesn't make sense to me unless the boolean for Smart Formatting is getting reversed, or I happened to find the rare freedb entry that is correctly typed........

All software being used is the latest beta version.

I'm just posting here to garner your attention.

My prior post on 4/30 describes something that might be a bug,
unlikely though that seems.

It would be great if as an alternative to Smart Formatting you describe an entry point that would be activated via a separate option.

If the option was selected, a file name would be called with a predefined function name to transform the text - string in, string out style.

That would allow your programming customers to describe whatever they choose as the result.

Just an idea....

There would have to be a big enough demand for such an complicated addition.
