Hi,
Whenever I en-queue a list or load a playlist, only the first song plays, then the rest of the list is scanned over without playing any more songs. Running Winnt 4.0
Any help?

Whilst it is enqueued have a look in My Music Collection, that will tell you of the filenames and where it is looking for the file, it might have the wrong location.

Checked filenames, all locations and names are correct. Still no luck.

Very odd, if you enque the files individually do they play?

I just enqued 2 songs manually. the first song played ok. it skipped right by the second one, and removes the songs from the enque list.

Could it be that dAP does not like the second file? try playing it normally (by double clicking it), does it play?

double click plays it ok, tried different songs in different folders with the same results. I really want this to work, I love this player!

DOes your WinNT4 have any user restrictions? are you logged on as administrator?
Does you have a list of tracks in My Music Collection??

I think I know what it might be - is the Crossfade option switched on (Options Menu >> Multiplayer)?
I am thinking your sound card is not able to work with the crossfade.

That was it! But I really wanted the crossfade option. Do you think it is my soundcard?

OK, now I am home. Running windows 95, different computer (dell at work, hp at home) same thing......plays first song, skips the rest. Please help, I love this program, but I really want the crossfade option to work. I found this program by looking for mp3 players with crossfade.

For crossfade to work your sound card needs to be able to play two sound streams at the same time, only the relatively modern sound cards can do this.

Try dAP Options Menu >> Amp
and switch the output method to DirectX.
