Hi,

.APE files wont associate with dAP. I right click on an .APE
file and try to open it with amp.exe but it wont play.

Do i have to convert it to another format first?
It stats that dAP will play .ape but
when i installed the codec it didnt and it didnt seem to add any
file association for .ape in the config.exe

The feature in the dMC to convert .ape works fine.

I guess its off to winamp to try to play these .ape files :(

Sonique player wont do it but i read that winamp and dAP
would but sofar no luck. Its too bad cuz i like the low resources
dAC uses compared to Sonique minus the visuals however.

btw.. i did reboot after codec installation no help.

Are DMC and DAP installed in the same location? That is a requirement.

Also, try running Start > Programs > dBPowerAMP > Configuration > File Associations - tick Monkey's Audio and Ogg Vorbis (if they are not already ticked), then click OK.
