error -- CD Writer Requires Music Conver R13 Reference or Newer

Hi:
I purchased CD Writer back in 2005 and also purchased Power Pack and MP3 License as well. My computer crashed and I am now re-installing the software. However, I cannot get the CD Writer to work because it is giving me this error:
error -- CD Writer Requires Music Conver R13 Reference or Newer

Do I have to upgrade to R13 Reference in order to use CD Writer even though I purchased it and it shows as registered?

I did this twice. What comes up is:

dBpoweramp Music Converter R13 (Registered)

CD Writer Release 3
Offer: Upgrade Power Pack Rxx to dBpoweramp Reference R13

Does this mean that even though I purchased CD Writer and have a registered copy of Music Converter R13, now that the current version is CD Writer Release 3, I must upgrade to Reference R13 to use CD Writer?

No, you should be able to install the registered r13 and then the CD writer and it should work. Are you getting that error after doing this?

Yes. After doing that, I then select CD Writer as an application and get an error that says that CD Writer Requires Music Converter R13 Reference or Newer. I have tried uninstalling CD Writer and Re-installing CD Writer but with no success. The CD Writer file is called dbpoweramp-cdwriter-registered-r3.exe.

I have re-issued the install just incase, uninstall all dbpoweramp programs, clear internet cache, redownload from the registration retrieval.
