install problems DAP

When trying to install the player - on installation it starts but issues error message to say it needs to close every time - no matter how many times I install reinstall - error message referencec a nll or similar .dll file...... any thoughts?

First, what version of the player are you tying to install (the r2 version from the Products page or the r3beta6 release from the beta section of the forum)? I would encourage you to try the r3beta6 version. You can get it from here:

Second, do you have version r12 or later of dBpoweramp music converter (dMC) installed? If so, have you followed the steps outlined in the compatibility notes here:
