How do I convert AAC to AC3?

How do I convert AAC to AC3?

AC3 is not in the drop-down list of formats to convert too when I right click on the AAC audio file. I searched the forum and found nothing on this subject, so I'm not sure dMC supports this.

I have AC3 Filter 1.46 installed along with DirectShow Decoder (.ac3 is listed under DirectShow Decoder on the "Codecs" tab of dBpoweramp Configuration).

The AC3 DirectShow Decoder with the AC# filter will allow Music Converter to read/decode/convert AC3 files but it is not able to rip or convert files to AC3.

I don't believe that Music Converter can create AC3 files at this time.
