I rip alot of files with DMC r12.3 and I was wondering if there is a why to replace blank spaces in the file names to underscores "_" or hyphens"-" automatically?
Right now I go back and do them manually but thats very time consuming. Am I doing something wrong ?

No, there is no "replace character" machanism in dMC r12 currently.

Well is there a way to configure DMC to ignore the spaces in track names prior to ripping a cd to have a file look like this when i'm finished ripping an album and the ID Tag and metadata labeled correctly?

Long story short....I ftp files to a server for external back up....I've had my music collection stolen twice and found this to be a good way to retrieve my music.

The only thing I can think of is running the "Arrange Audio" utility codec after conversion, but that will only take care of spaces between tagging elements, not within. There doesn't seem to be anything in the naming elements that will replace spaces with tags, unfortunately.
