Recently I purchased a new Acer X191W 19" wide screen monitor and while experimenting with screen resolutions, My Blue Car was lost. DB still plays and all other skins show just fine, but when I switch to Pedeko's Blue Car, it will not show. It plays fine, but in order to do anything I must go into my music collection. Very Odd.
I even tried completely removing ALL DB software, plug in's and addons and ran CCleaner, NOTHING. HELP, I really like my Blue Car.Anyone have any ideas?
I would recommend first uninstalling and reinstalling the skin in question.
There is also downloading a fresh version of the skin's installation file and reinstalling from scratch.
If the skin is loading (you get tray control showing up but the skin is off-screen, you may be able to go into the registry to change the computer's coordinates for the skin (I have known this to get mixed up on some skins although not this particular skin). If this is your problem and you need tips, we have had some other questions on this you might be able to track down or perhaps I can track this down later.
Best wishes,
Bill
Addendum:
The other thing that *might* work is to open dAP (dBpowerAMP) Audio Player with the Blue Car skin then run the routine to reset dAP to "factory specifications" here:
http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=403
(from the dAP FAQ section of this forum).
This is very quick and painless and therefore worth trying even though I am not sure it will help with your particular problem
If this does not work, the post from Craze (one of very special people who have designed skins for dAP), in this thread here should help you with the registery fix I mentioned in my first post:
http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=12325
If none of these work, please let us know.
Best wishes,
Bill
