Actually that's the opposite of what this poster wants, but it may provide information on amr in general including any players that might be available for it.

If you can play the amr file on your pc using any player, then you can record the sound through the souncard using dMC Auxiliary Input to any other supported format, including mp3 (as long as yuo have a registered version of dMC or an unexpired trial version because of the mp3 encoder licence requirements).

Sony/Ericsson has an amr to wav converter that you can download from here:http://miksoft.evzonastravel.com/mobileAMRconverter.htm

You should then be able to use dBpowerAMP Music Converter to convert from wav to mp3.
