Sorry for the delay, I was out for a bit. The Mac version is not free, but there is a trial that will get you enough time to fix this.Comment

Re: ID TAG UPDATE missing in BATCH CONVERTER (Windows_10 Ver. 16.6)
I will be performing the actions on my PC - I'm getting my iMac end of next month. But thanks for the information.
I'm still having problems signing up to their forum, but tech support are looking into it now . . .

All good. Should be able to load up all your albums and run that action to remove " from artist. Note that this changes the ARTIST tag, but doesn't change the file name or folder name. Once the tag info is changed, you can also use mp3tag and "convert tag to filename" to use any new tag info in naming folders and/or files.Comment

I still have issues in getting mp3tag to delete the 'quotations' from: ComposerSort, ArtistSort, and AlbumArtistSort. I have run the advised actions many times but to no avail. However, I think I'm going to do away with these three particular tags as they add nothing to my library experience.

Thanks, Garym - I think I'm inclined to follow suit here. I had actually been considering this matter for some time.Comment

Almost, just before....Leo. But also keep in mind that once stored away, I never expect to actually look at or use a physical CD. Just can't bring myself to part with them. And technically, it's illegal in the US for me to retain the digital copies and get rid of the physical copies. Not that I would expect the CD police to be knocking on my door.Comment

I have 6 plastic containers full or my organised CDs. I like to reference the booklets from time to time. I'll never part with them. Fortuitously I live alone and so 'space' is no issue.
My Artist and Album Artist tags are no more!Comment
