ra to wma fast-forward is disabled

I used dppoweramp to convert some .ra files I had to .wma. The conversion seems to work but the wma files it produces cant be fast-forwarded, you can either play the whole thing from the beggining or nothing at all. I tried playing the file on different wma players with no change in the problem. If I first convert the file from ra to mp3 and then from mp3 to wma then it works! Has anyone seen this before?

Odd, you might want to look at the WMA 9 codec in the beta section of this forum.
