    freedb lookup

I'm having dificulties with some albums that freedb contains not being found, there is a discrepency with the size of the tracks between the two. Would it be possible to manually enter the CD ID to retrieve the CD info, as that would save some copying and pasting.

You mean you have gone onto freedb.org and searched for an artist & track? and pulled out a id number?

      Yes.
The CD is in there, this happens 80% of the time, and the timings don't match, the database entries have an ID tag that is visible when you do a manual search on the site, could you get the DMC input to pull the details down if it can't find the result and a user does a manual search and supplies the ID?
Unfortunately the IDs look like they're generated on submission to the DB rather than the frames on the CD or the allegedly unique ID the CDs contain.
The only difference in the timings I've noticed appears to be a rounding on the least significant second.
