    :boese10: I can convert from an original audio cd (.cda files) only by using Windows Media Audio, but of course only in .wma file. I WANT TO CONVERT DIRECTLY TO .mp3 file!!!! But dMC release 11 told me:"The file 'D:\Track01.cda' could not be opened.
    Read Table of Contents failed - audio disc in drive?" OF COURSE IT IS!!!! wHAT i HAVE TO DO???? Please!!! Help me!!!!

    Stat dMC Audio CD Input and click on Options - make sure the correct cd drive is shown - click on the Advanced button next to that (click twice) and set the CD Commmunication to a different value from what you have - not sure what you see there for yours, but either 2000/NT Device IO or 2000/NT Builtin (limited) seem to work for most people. Try one or the other.

    Also right-click on the down arrow next to Options and then Standard Cd Player Emulation > Table of Contents Detection (either on or off).

    Finally in order to create .mp3 files you need a registered copy of the Powerpack (unless you are within the free trial period).
