DSD downsampling: native or through PCM convertion?

    Hi folks,

quick question. In case I would like to downsample from DSD256 to DSD128, how dbpoweramp manage it? natively, or converting to PCM?

I'm wondering, because I see with MusicScope some differences from original, a sort of "-6dB effect" in TPL and RMS, that sounds to me a result from PCM convertion.

    thanks for your support

    thanks
    Andrea

It would be decoded and then encoded.
