Search facility returns all albums where artist names begins with A

I am sure the answer to this is staring me in the face.

When I search for say Cutler under Artist, I get Ivor and Chris. When I search using the same terms under Composer, I get a full alphabetical list of all artists whose names begins with A eg Alice Coltrane, Artist.

Your advice please.

It is likely the way your control point is searching, what is it?

On my phone, it's Linn which then returns all the Composers in alphabetical order regardless of search term.


On my laptop, it's Linn Kazoo which then returns all the Composers in alphabetical order under the heading Classical, regardless of search term.

What are you running Asset UPnP on?
If it's something else than a Windows PC, this problem has been addressed in Asset R2024 beta - https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthr...PnP-R2024-beta
Windows version with all these fixes will be released later.
