Converting MKV files

Is there a problem converting these file to, for example MP4. Have a few files to convert but getting the following message:

Error converting to MP4 (Nvidia H264), 'F:\Video\THE_VERDICT\THE_VERDICT.Title1.mkv' to 'C:\Users\mawym\Desktop\iPlayer Recordings\PowerAmpConversions\THE_VERDICT.Title1. mp4'

Subtitle encoding currently only possible from text to text or bitmap to bitmap


Have tried different codecs.

Add the DSP Effect 'Stream selection' and set subtitle selection to 'none'

Thanks for getting back to me Spoon. I followed your instructions and at least it started this time but at the end of the process it gave me another error.

The first two came up on a previous conversion to MKV as well.

Try the option 'Audio Stream: Copy 1:1 from Source' or the other option if already selected.

I had some success with the 1 2 1 copy but I keep getting this line:
[mpeg2video @ 00000000026d9540] ignoring pic cod ext after 0
[mpeg2video @ 0000000000e0e400] ignoring pic cod ext after 0

Could you tell what it means?
Also sometimes after the error the new file stays and sometimes it is deleted.

Not sure, perhaps those files have somekind of corruption.
