Can't rip with CDripper or convert with the Music Converter

Out of the blue nothing is working. Tried to rip some new cds and no action whatsoever. When trying to reload the cdripper went into sleeping mode. Same thing with the music converter.

If you convert a file, the computer sleeps?

Nothing. Looks like it tries to convert and that it takes to long and it goes into "sleeping mode" or error and I got the question if I want to close or restart...

Windows. Microsoft 365 Personal. Uninstalled dbpoweramp and reinstalled it today without any result. So strange, been using it frequently since 2013 without any problem. Ripped thousands of cds.

                First try:

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

with the option to remove all settings checked, then reinstall and see if works without changing anything.
