I am using this drive to rip at least 20 CDs, I used Accuterip at first setup and determined that it has a +6 offset. I have no problems ripping CDs as they always end up accurately ripped. I recently found out that the offset of this drive in this website http://www.accuraterip.com/driveoffsets.htm says purged, what does it mean? Can this be changed?

It means the offset is not constant across all drives. -

So is this permanently purged? It has been 10 years already since this was purged. Maybe the offset is constant??Comment

The offset is not constant because we have multiple submissions with different offsets, this drive is never being added back.Comment
