Read Metadata File DSP removes the embedded image art.

I might be doing something wrong. Here's my situation:
I have several files that I need to make edits to. The particular wave editor I'm using removes most of my custom metadata—but keeps the embedded art.
My solution is to copy the files over to a temporary location, write the metadata file, make the edits, then read the metadata back in while moving it back to the original folder.
The embedded art is in the file before I use the Read Metadata File DSP. It's gone once it's done running it.

Any help would be great.

Ah, I can use the ID Tag Manipulation DSP to export the art to a jpg file and then embed it again with the same.
