    Key Disc Problem with AccurateRip

I've been using dbpoweramp for years, but just got a new PC and upgraded to a new version and installed the new software. I'm unable to get accuraterip to work. If I recall, this used to be an easy process with just putting in a few discs and I was ready to go. I've tried a few dozen discs and they either "don't match the database" which is hard to believe since I already ripped them previously, they came up as accurate and the details were sent at the end of the month (a year or so back).

Anyway, this is what I am currently getting:

What can I do to make it work?

    Thanks!

just keep feeding CDs, some folks have had to feed 30 or more CDs before AR configures. I suspect it has to do with the offset of the drive you are using.

Did you look at the image I posted? Every disc I find just says that the miss-mattches the drive database offset. Calculated is +16 samples, +64 bits. It won't work.

      ????

Yes, that's why I said I suspect the problem has to do with the drive offset. But I'm out of ideas (I'm just another user like you). @spoon will need to chime in.

Is C2 error pointer turned off or on?

1400 people have all had the same offset of +6 for this drive. Unless there is a new issue of the drive with a different firmware which changes the offset, I tend to believe it is +6.

So is there a way to manually set it to 6 or do I just need to replace the drive?

Can you link me a drive that you think is good?

I found two old drives at work--one wouldn't read a disc, but the other worked fine and the first disc I put in registered aa a key disc, so back in business. Thanks,

                        Brian
