    Rip speeds are random

    Hi Everybody
I'm experimenting problems on CD ripping at different speeds between CDs.
Lets say on CD at 24x next at 7x etc.
    I'm running on Widows 11
    Any thoughts?????
    Thanks a lot.

It is the drive which sets the speed in dependency of the CD and the reading qualtiy.

As Dat Ei points out this is normal. It is often a function of the CD itself. I have some CDs that rip at very high speeds and others that rip at 2x. Best to leave the dbpoweramp ripper settings at automatic for speed.

        Pioneer optical drives have issues.
