Did you ever try to assign a drive letter to that path and use a path with the drive letter instead of the UNC path (Universal Naming Convention)? I.E. assign drive letter "z:" to the base path " \\JIM-MAC-MINI\E Drive\Music\iTunes Media\Music" and in CD Ripper write to "z:"

I didn&*8217;t understand what you said, Dat Ei?
I will get back to you, mville, when I am able to run the CD ripper (will be tomorrow).

I&*8217;m almost there. The Album Artist doesn&*8217;t show in the music. That field in blue in the Naming the album Artist.
Jhstn58
In your Naming example, you have:
[IFVALUE]album artist,Album Artist,[IFCOMP]
It should be:
[IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]
It would be [album artist] to show in blue on the main page.
What value is Album Artist set to in CD Ripper?
Spoon
www.dbpoweramp.com
That value is the Beatles, in this case. In the chimes of freedom, it would the current artist that is id&*8217;ed in the album artist. Where the cast is various artists, it is the artist that the artist album, for example Patti smith.
The question I have is how do you revise the original value so as to get it to reflect that original value (add the brackets)? I don&*8217;t seem to be able to add the brackets.
Jhstn58
How do I revise the original value to incorporate the revised value?
Jhstn58
See the Path and Naming section in the help: dBpoweramp CD Ripper
\\JIMS-MAC-MINI\EDrive\music\iTunesMedia\music\[IFVALUE]album artist, Beatles
\\
\\JIMS-MAC-MINI\EDrive\Music\iTunes Media\Music\[IFVALUE]album artist, Beatles, The, [IFCOMP]Taxman.aif
What am I doing wrong? Now, the music is being copied to the directory in the EDrive\Music\iTunes Media
I cannot find out how to correct it. Please be patient with me.

Will do
Your post is confusing as you don't specify what you are actually posting or which CD Ripper window you are viewing when editing and, what you are trying to achieve.
What is the above, where did you copy it from? Whatever it is, the syntax is invalid. Please can you provide screenshots, so we can see exactly what your are trying to edit?
