Manipulating comment tag to make iTunes happy

Spoon, in the FAQ, you said:

"Sometimes iTunes does not correctly read the ID Tags (if converted from other formats where the tags are in a different order, if this is the case use Mp3Tag to edit the comment field of all the files to make iTunes happy)."

Could you elaborate? When you say edit the comment field - - edit it how? Make it blank? Delete it? Put something specific in it? What will make iTunes happy? Also, is Mp3Tag a separate product? Does it have tagging capabilities that dbPowerAmp with PowerPack does not?

Possibly the new version of iTunes no longer has this bug, try it, it will be obvious if the tags are not showing in iTunes.
