    quality was lost due to db power amp

    [i compressed a mp3 file to its lowest size using db power amp and converted back to its original size but the quality was badly lost so what should i do to get the quality of the original file]

      ? what bitrate did you convert your original song to ?

        THere's nothing you can do about it. There's a reason why MP3 is called a "lossy" codec. You lose quality from it everytime to encode to it, and, depending on the bitrate, you lose more or less, but something is lost no matter what. And, the lower the bitrate the more you lose of the original file. You will have to rerip it from the CD or redownload it.

        And it's not dbamp's fault, any encoding software will do the exact same thing, unless you are working with a "lossless" codec, like Monkey Audio or Flac.
