Question Help I'm ripping text files not music files

Just set up dBpoweramp again after installing on new computer. I have been trying to use the default naming but all I'm getting is a an individual text file, that I can't open, for each track, eg - Miles Davis\Kind Of Blue [Remastered]\01 Miles Davis - So What.

This looks ok to me. You have a player for flac files?

Is this windows. Your naming path is pretty long. Could you be running up against name length problem? As a test, try ripping to your C: drive, with a much shorter path.

Hi garym, Its macOS Big Sur 11.4. I was trying to rip to an external drive but I've just tried ripping an AIFF to the laptop but same issue.I just get a document file for each track. I was going to post a screen shot but not sure how to.

The ripped files are not in an artist or album folder. They are shown as individual files for each track but unfortunately they are not audio files. Could the problem be a settings issue or a software glitch. I thought it might have been the CD drive but I got it to rip ok with XLD.
