Convert Higher Resolution files to lower

    Hi everyone

I've looked through and can't see an answer - apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

I have some hi-res audio files, encoded at 192khz/24 bit, and need to convert them to a maximum of 48khz/24 bit to be able to play them via Sonos.

I can't see a way to set these parameters - advice gratefully received.

    Cheers

see below. You will use resample DSP to 44.1, with triangular dither option, then bit depth DSP to change from 24 to 16. You can do all this at once in batch converter.

Thanks - except that I wish to create a 48/24 file, not 44.1/16

Thanks - except I want to convert to 48/24, not CD quality 44.1/16.

In fact, I just need to use Resample setting max at 48khz. No need for triangular dither or bit depth changes.

correct. If not changing bitrate, you don't need dither.
